CS5 Bridge APD settings

My mother has just bought Photoshop CS5 which comes with Bridge CS5.1. She has Windows 7, 32-bit.

I was showing her how to use "Get Photos from Camera...".Adobe Photo Downloader (APD) opened with the Standard screen and so I clicked on the Advanced button to set up the import folder, renaming options and metadata.  Images (jpgs) downloaded fine.

When I went back into the APD, instead of showing the Advanced screen, it showed the Standard screen and when I clicked on Advanced, it had lost all the settings. I tried it again, trying to import RAW files to see if that made a difference.  It didn't. I closed Bridge and re-opened it and tried again, but it still didn't work.

I have CS5 Design and when I use Bridge APD, (on Windows XP or Windows 7) it not only alway opens up the Advanced screen, it remembers all my settings.

How do I have my mother's version do that?
