I am running CS5 on a Windows 7 machine.
I have noticed that when viewing InDesign thumbnails in Bridge some files have symbols in the top right hand corner, see example below

I have searched the forums and internet for the answer to this, and I am wondering if it has to do with the metadata but don't know which part of this.
Is there such a thing as an article or document which explains all the difference symbols Bridge can add to thumbnails.
