i have two problems since i installed bridge cs5 on my 64-bit system that didnt occur in the 32 bit version.
1. if i drag a folder from an external USB-drive to the favorites its there as it should be. if i restart bridge later without the harddrive being connected the folder will still be in the favorites, however if i click on it i get a message saying " the item could not be found. it may have been moved or renamed" and when i click OK the folder is deleted automatically. is there a possibility to switch that-auto delete feature off? i regularly use the same folder from an external drive, but its just not connected all the time and sometimes i will click on the folder unintentionally and then its deleted, though i dont want it deleted. in 32 bit it used to just stay there, regardless of the drive being conected or not.
2. the part where i can switch between workspaces can be dragged to be wider so i see more than one workspace at a time and can switch faster between them. in the 32 bit version, the width of the menu was saved after bridge shut down and i could switch between my two workspaces with one click (also after restart). now in the 64 bit version i can still make the area wider and it will work but only until i quit bridge, when i start it up again, the area is narrow again, displaying just one workspace and i have to click, dropdown, look for the other workspace, click again to change.
thanks for help, if anyone knows solutions.
