Hi,
I really hope that someone is able to help me with this, because it is driving me crazy. I have been using Bridge CS 4 for a long time, at I have continously had problems with the folders view. Very often the folder that I keep all my pictures in is not displaying and this is despite the fact that Bridge is set to show EVERYTHING including hidden files.
My way around this problem would usually be to select the missing folder under "favorites" and then revert to the folders panel. That would usually make bridge acknowledge that there should be a "my pictures" folder and it would display it in the hierarchy. Although it was a tedious work around, it worked.
Now, after upgrading to CS5, I can't for the life of me get it it to show the folder in the hierarhy no matter how I go around it.
As you can see from the screen shot below, the "My pictures" folder is located right in between the "my Music" and the "My Recipes" folder. In Bridge it is none-existing. As mentioned, I can access it throug my favorites panel, but it will not show up in the folder hierarchy. Also, when I try to enter any on the folders that are White, I get the message "The item could not be displayed. It may have been moved or renamed". This is not the case for any of those folders. As you can see they are available in the windows explorer pane and I have no problem accessing them here.
Please help someone and thanks a lot in advance.
