Sorry about posting in the wrong place.......and I can seem to copy but not paste to here. Anyway.......I have two other drives for storing Raw and Work files. Just loaded Win. 7 64 bit and CS4 on the main drive. When I go to my older photo files (from CS3 and CS2) I have no control over Ratings or Labels. Keyboard shortcuts or top menu has no effect. .. although under Edit I get a Undo or Redo. If I click under the thumb nail I get a Star......but it will not filter and is gone after closing and opening Bridge. I also lose most of my Filter categories....when I click on a folder and as the thumb nail are loading the Filter categories are there and then they vanish right in front of my eyes.
When I download new photos from a card Ratings and Labels work fine.....but not all the Filter catigories are there that are checked. I guess it is something with the older thumb nails...but I am lost.....any help would be very appritiated......Peter
