Updater, Windows 7 x64

First, I'm only posting this in the Bridge Forum based on the "messaging" that I'm getting with the error. There doesn't seem to be a forum for "Product Updater", so here goes.

 

Pictures are worth more than 1000 words:

 

  1. I get the usually pain free Adobe Updater notification:

  2. Alas, this time the pain has been going on for a few days. I kept thinking maybe Adobe's system is overloaded with all the updates going on (odd since its not as if this is the first update, but then again....) and the error does indicate an "error in downloading":

    Yes, I 've tried quitting and doing over (as above, it's been a few days).

 

I've seen other forum posts that sound similar (even if it was a different update version), but they aren't - those refer to a running process that prevents installation. My issue as shown above, is that the download itself doesn't even happen.
