Speed up Bridge by putting Cache on SSD?

Hi,

even I've a quadcore machine with 8 GB of RAM and a 1TB 7200RPM WD HDD Bridge is very slow on opening folders and showing the thumbnails. Sometimes I wait up to 50sec until Bridge shows me the thumbs in a folder of ~200 item (JPEG, RAW; MOV). Rebuilding the cache or enabling the option to show embedded thumbs haven't any effects.

Thus I think about to buy an SSD to put the whole windows system including Birdge's cache on it.

Are there any experiences with those settings - OS+CS5+Caches on SSD - especially with Bridge's performance?
