Output Module 2.1 Failed to install

Use Bridge CS4 to update.

Always worked in the past.

1 Item refuses to install with the message:

Output Module 2.1 Failed to install

All Adobe Apps are shutdown prior to download/install operation as verified with task manager.

Seen a similat discussion in the past, but not exactly the same set of conditions.

Any hints?
