Bridge CS3 Crashes on Startup

Hi,

I've just installed the newly released CS3 Design Premium Suite and every application seems to be working well except for Bridge. I can't start it at all as it crashes even before I see the loading screen. The message I get is the generic "Adobe Bridge has encountered a problem and needs to close."

I have tried several of the troubleshooting steps listed at the following URL but anything that requires changing prefs I cannot do as I cannot load the app at all:

I run the Suite under Win XP SP2 on a computer with 1Gb or Ram.

I'd appreciate any pointers towards troubleshooting steps or any hint of a solution.
